Victoria Oniah trained in the United Kingdom at the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital — one of the leading centres for paediatric care in the world.
With 20 years of experience, Victoria has extensive training working with children aged 0–18 in the management of cerebral palsy, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia), hip dysplasia (DDH), hypermobility, autism, and more.
Victoria is DMI (Dynamic Movement Intervention) Level B certified — a specialised approach that uses targeted therapeutic handling to activate the neurological system and promote motor development in children with movement challenges.
Victoria takes a child-centred and holistic approach to treatment. She relocated to the Okanagan in 2012 and is passionate about making specialist services available to families in the region — optimising and facilitating continuity of care for children and their families.
